For all bodies, genders and levels

What Is this Class?

As a long time member of the LGBTQIA+ community I know how problematic it can be to find spaces in which our bodies are accepted. We don’t always find places that make us feel comfortable enough to allow ourselves to be the person we’d like to be.

The aim of these classes is to give the Queer community a space to explore themselves physically and unapologetically. These classes are about celebrating our bodies and all that they are capable of.

We will be focusing on cardio health and strength. Everything can be modified to whatever level you are at.

I will be offering these classes FREE for our first 4 sessions.

After that Pay As You Go will be £8 or you can buy 5 sessions for £25 or 10 sessions for £50. Any anyone who joins us after the first introductory month will get their first 2 sessions for free.

What Type Of Exercise?

I want to make sure you enjoy this class and therefore make it part of your life/social schedule. I’m interested in getting to know you and what you like to do. But to do that we need to start somewhere, so here’s what I’m planning to start with:

Circuit Training

Strength

Think of it like an obstacle course with levels and games for everyone to enjoy. Focused on building full-body strength

Kick Boxing

Power

Not only is this great for building strength and endurance, but sometimes hitting things is just good for your mental health.

Stretching

Self Care

Worked hard? Let’s stretch it out. Focusing on looking after your body after a hard workout and correcting postural habits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions always come up about events like this, and we want to save you some time by providing you with answers to some of the questions that I hear a lot. Don’t hesitate to reach out with further questions: annie@annieceleste.com

How much does it cost?

The first month is free to give everyone a chance to get to know each other and properly try things out. After that it will be £8 if you pay as you go, or you can buy 5 sessions for £25 and 10 sessions for £50. New members from then on will get their first 2 sessions for free.

Is there an age limit?

The minimum age for these classes is 18 but if you are younger than this and interested in a class, email annie@annieceleste.com. If there is demand for it, I will do my best to provide it.

How do I sign up for the class?

Just simply click one of the Register buttons above. As soon as I have dates confirmed, I’ll let you know.

Is it okay to attend with a history of trauma or other issues which might require me to leave the room during session?

Absolutely! My aim is to make you feel as safe as I can within this space. If at any point you feel you need a moment, there are spaces in the building (as well as outside) that you can take yourself, should you need to.

What if I'm not comfortable with physical contact?

There are times where I may be required to correct your form to avoid injury. I will always ask for consent before making any physical contact. If you would prefer no physical contact, I can demonstrate the correction in another way.  If this is something you would like me to be aware of before the session, then please simply send me a message and introduce yourself before we begin.

Do I need to be 'fit' already?

Absolutely not! This space is about getting to know our bodies and exploring what they are capable of, no experience or fitness level required.

Do I have to take part in everything?

Absolutely not! If you need to take a minute or don’t feel comfortable with a particular move, then take a break, take a breath, a drink of water and come join in when you are ready. You do you, this is your space to explore that.

Can I bring a friend?

Of course! We are trying to build a community space, the more the merrier.

What should I bring?

Comfy clothes you can move about in, some water and a small towel.
